Top 5 Food Delivery Apps in Nigeria: Q4 2024 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Nigerian food delivery market saw varied performance across the top five apps. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into weekly downloads and active user trends.

Glovo: Food Delivery, Takeaway experienced a consistent pattern in downloads, starting at around 20.5K in early October and peaking at approximately 24.2K in mid-November. Active users initially decreased from 310K to 270K but rebounded to over 304K by the end of December.

Chowdeck | Food Delivery showed a significant surge in downloads, reaching a high of 47.7K in the final week of December. Despite a declining trend in active users from 365K to 264K over the quarter, the app maintained a robust presence.

For FoodCourt: Food Delivery+, downloads increased notably towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 12.5K in the week leading up to Christmas.

MANO food & products delivery started the quarter with 2.3K downloads, climbing steadily to 4.8K by the year's end. Active users saw a decline overall, dropping from 26K to just over 11K.

Lastly, Gokada Superapp maintained a modest download rate, peaking at 1.6K mid-December before settling around 867 by the end of the quarter.
